Block Watch
An additional tool used by the Village to enhance our security is an active Block Watch Program. In a coordinated effort with local law enforcement agencies, a network of volunteers is organized into Watch Areas throughout the Village. The volunteers communicate with each other and their neighbors to be aware of any unusual activity in the Village. The volunteers and the program also endeavor to educate neighbors on crime prevention measures.
